We are seeking an entrepreneurial, accomplished, and highly self-motivated Product Marketing Director, with a great deal of experience successfully marketing B2B products & services to a wide range of large scale enterprise customers, via many different methods, digital and traditional, as well as driving various growth and strategic initiatives. The Product Marketing Director is responsible as a leader of marketing strategy and execution, helping to define the positioning, messaging and competitive differentiation of the company’s products and services . This role will help ensure Marketing is aligned with Product, Sales and other cross-functional teams as necessary, working efficiently to generate and close opportunities, as well as bring complex programs to market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop in-depth understanding of all sides of the Even business to be able to drive critical product marketing initiatives and go-to-market programs across all sectors we cover, financial services verticals and consumer touchpoints
  • Act as a subject matter expert and leader on our products, services and competitive landscape by staying on top of industry, technology and competitive trends
  • Work closely with BI, Product, PS, Sales, BD and other cross-functional teams to generate analysis and insights on company business to help inform and refine market positioning, size opportunities, direct go-to-market and growth initiatives
  • Produce high quality, clear, effective presentations and creative assets to translate technical products/features into client-facing narratives and communications for collateral and other customer facing touchpoints and outputs - highlighting positioning, differentiators and benefits of company products & services
  • Manage a wide range of complex cross-functional programs with various project teams to successful outcomes, across all verticals and sectors of the business, with emphasis on specific target areas
  • Support the product lifecycle end-to-end – from concept to execution, betas and user testing, through launch and ongoing live service – with product marketing expertise and org-wide collaboration, including value prop, customer / competitor research, packaging, pricing, positioning, ops and promotions
  • Develop, track and present success metrics that evaluate the performance of product marketing initiatives including product usage, market-fit and GTM campaign execution

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience within product / product marketing, strategy and / or operations
  • Deep understanding and passion for tech, fintech and product marketing, driven to innovate and deliver - experience in finance or other highly regulated industries a major plus
  • Develop and reliably manage high volume pipelines of top quality creative in all necessary media formats, while balancing constraints, under deadline
  • Strong creative sensibilities, with deep skills in the direction and creation of content, copy, graphics, documentation, collateral, videos, events and other marketing assets as necessary
  • Demonstrable knowledge of financial analysis, modeling and data viz
  • Fluent with basic productivity tools such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and G-Suite (Mail, Calendar, Docs, Drive), some depth in one or more specialized tools for creative or business (such as Adobe CC, Final Cut, Looker, Tableau, SQL, Ad Platforms, Salesforce, HTML/CSS/JS) a major plus
  • Exemplary written, verbal and graphic communication skills, internally and externally, at all levels of an organization, to a wide range of audiences – public speaking experience a plus
  • Take ownership of outcomes outside personal responsibility and corral resources to reach timelines and deliverables
  • Critical thinking while operating in a fast-paced environment, able to deal with ambiguity and parse into a plan
