What this role is about:
The Product Marketing Manager represents the customer's voice in both product and go-to-market strategy decisions, promoting the growth and usage of products within the RapidSOS portfolio. You will ensure that the right audience gets the right message through the right channels. We are looking for a data-driven marketer to join RapidSOS as a Product Marketing Manager with global responsibility over the RapidSOS emergency response data platform and partner community. The RapidSOS Platform is a two-sided platform that securely links life-saving data from over 350 million connected devices to first responders during an emergency. We are looking for someone who understands product strategy, market segmentation and marketing execution, and has experience across the full acquisition funnel and product lifecycle. Reporting to the PMM Lead, you will help define and drive marketing strategies to grow RapidSOS in U.S. and global markets. What you’ll do:
Be the customer expert with in-depth knowledge of our target audiences and how to best speak to them across marketing channels
Drive the development of strategic marketing plans for our target audiences as well as RapidSOS's product positioning, value propositions, and foundational messaging
Lead a global go-to-market plan strategy, including all communications and supporting materials for new feature and product launches
Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to determine the product strategy and a feature road map that sets RapidSOS apart from others in the market
Create and manage sales enablement materials (e.g., one-pagers, sales presentations, battlecards, videos, etc.) and marketing content (e.g., webinars, case studies, eBooks, website copy, etc.)
- Form a Customer Advisory Board for ongoing market and partner feedback, collecting innovative ideas and referrals to inform our business strategy
What we’d like to see in our ideal candidate:
5+ years of product marketing experience in B2B or B2G businesses
Experience leading marketing strategy; building and executing integrated marketing plans with tactics to help achieve Marketing KPIs.
Excellent written and verbal communication with an strong attention to detail; content marketing experience a plus
Proven track record working collaboratively and across multiple teams and projects to take new products and features to the market
Strong technical literacy with ability to convey complex technical concepts to a wide variety of audiences
Ability to quickly solve or seek the solution to any problem in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment while staying organized with excellent project management skills
Expertise in Hubspot and Salesforce preferred
