About the Role
The Product Operations team collaborates with operations, product, and other partners to strategize and deliver products that tackle our toughest operations problems on a global scale. You will work with our eligibility team to expand solutions for earners and our ops partners globally!
As a Product Operations Manager, you'll sit on the Consumer Product Ops team and collaborate day-in and day-out with your fellow team leads (e.g., Product Manager, Engineering Manager, Product Designer, Data Scientist, Product Marketing Manager) to identify, scope, design, build, pilot, and launch products and features that will drive your team's OKRs and create best-in-class customer experiences.
This role specifically is focused on the Core Uber Eats / Delivery experience, which encompasses all experiences with the Uber Eats app, and many in the Uber Rides app:
Product Operations Managers particularly own the strategic process of prioritizing which projects their team works on and the go-to-market strategies and launch plans of their products/features. They sync and collaborate regularly with dedicated Ops counterparts across mega-regions to bring the voice of Ops and customers to their Product team.
What the Candidate Will Do:

  • Define the operating structure and processes to implement on product strategy
  • Lead a community of strategic leaders to encourage a significant impact on the business
  • Maintain regular communications with key team members across the org
  • Ensure functional partners are aligned on key objectives for the program/product
  • Advise product teams on the global feasibility of products throughout the product lifecycle
  • Develop an end-to-end product rollout plan, and project-manage implementation
  • Collaborate with key team members (legal, tax, policy, support, etc) to prepare products for launch
  • Track core business metrics related to the product
  • Identify key problem areas and/or geographies impacted by product post-launch
  • Surface and advocate for key insights from the business to advise product improvement

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4 years experience in operations, business consulting, finance or similar analytical role
  • Excellent communication, the ability to engage internal stakeholders and external customers
  • Deep understanding of the user experience
  • Ability to leverage data to inform and support critical decisions
  • Strategic alignment, able to bring key stakeholders across functions together
  • A desire to learn, highly motivated self-starter, with an eagerness to learn and grow
  • Ability to foster collaboration and facilitate teamwork

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SQL proficiency
  • Deep analytical expertise
  • Prior experience working on global projects, or in an international setting
  • Strategic alignment, able to bring key partners across functions together


For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $125,000 per year - $139,000 per year.For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $125,000 per year - $139,000 per year.For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp.
