The Product Team at Kinship is at the forefront of digital services and platforms for millennial pet parents. We’re driving true innovation in the pet world through the development of destinations and experiences that benefit consumers and their pets. We’re an experienced team who loves driving innovation for the future of pet care, with the backing of a global leader in the industry.

We’re seeking a product operations specialist who is eager to bring their talents to emerging pet businesses. This role will provide hands-on support of a new initiative, rolling up their sleeves to support everything from ongoing market analysis all the way to direct customer engagement and support. This person is up for the challenge of going from zero to one, with an entrepreneurial environment where everyone is open to any task. You’ll be there at the onset of a new initiative that will support a community of pet parents!

 HOW YOU’LL HELP EVERYONE PET PARENT LIKE A PRO

• Provide hands-on operational support as we develop a new destination in service of pet parents
• Engage, support and liaise with external partners who will power our new destination
• Build relationships both internally and externally to support and deliver a successful product strategy, plan, and launch
• Aggregate and analyze market data and user needs while addressing product challenges and opportunities
• Continuously evaluate our product’s operating model and processes in order to improve operational performance
• Proactively and reactively identify opportunities to improve product and product satisfaction while executing plans against it
• Develop new frameworks, systems, processes and influence product to shepherd the growth of our pet parent community
• Identify and drive strategic projects aimed at improving KPIs

 REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 3+ years of experience in operations, strategy, project management, or product and analytics
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage and manage relationships with partners and businesses
• Experience with two-sided marketplaces, and demonstrated ability to leverage data to identify bottlenecks and reduce friction within a marketplace
• Experience with self-driven investigation and research, categorizing data, and handling requests with limited guidelines.
• You are self-driven and can navigate through ambiguity. You’re comfortable balancing concurrent projects in an agile and fast-paced environment
• You are truly a “do-er”, willing to get your hands dirty, solving any problems needed to help projects move forward
• You are flexible, collaborative, and open-minded
