Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner (PO) with strong technical background, Agile Business Analysis skills and a proven track record of delivering great digital products within Fixed Income trading.

What You’ll Do

• Apply knowledge of fixed income trading/data product practices and conventions from both Buy-Side and Sell-Side perspective.
• Apply knowledge of fixed income electronic trading platform protocols, with focus on Order and RFQ management flows.
• Translate business and technical requirements into user stories, elicit NFRs and create artefacts needed to describe the solutions intent.
• Work closely with other internal stakeholders, especially other data and trading Product Owners and Managers.
• Prioritise the backlog of work to supports the execution of the Product strategy.
• Showcase progress to large stakeholder groups through demos and walkthroughs.
• Work in an Agile at scale environment, providing product ownership and business analysis capability on one or more Scrum teams.
• Demonstrate a systematic approach to problem solving and a strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrate ability to arbitrate between competing stakeholder needs.
• Play an active role in the Product and BA community, helping to grow our capability in these areas.

What You Bring to the Table

• Minimum 3+ years working across PO/BA roles in Financial Technology.
• Recent experience of OMS/EMS API integration with trading venues.
• Fundamental understanding of database design, including working knowledge of SQL.
• Experience of operating in Agile at scale on multi team, multi-site initiatives.
• Experience in Agile delivery techniques, processes, practices and tooling.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Office, Slack, WebEx.
• Experience in continuous improvement and problem-solving techniques.
