As a member of the product security team, you’re helping create a strong foundation for all Clear Street products and services through direct interaction with engineers and product teams throughout the company. You will:

• Work with the CISO to develop strategies to enhance the assurance of the software we build and run.
• Establish baseline security and privacy objectives for Clear Street’s product and services.
• Work with the infrastructure team to implement tools and procedures that impact the entire organization in a scalable and effective way.
• Build out the product security capability within Clear Street, including hiring product security experts, mentoring engineers, and evaluating tooling to positively impact the security of our products.
• Create a model to integrate security and privacy into the product development process.
• Establish training for developers and non-developers on the importance of product security in their role in the broader security program.
• Be supported by Clear Street management and engineering teams in your job.
• Have access to the resources and training you and your team need to be successful in maturing our product security function.

Requirements: 

• An understanding and experience on how to integrate security into a CI/CD environment.
• Knowledge of modern cloud-native development practices and languages.
• The ability to manage teams, both through direct oversight and through consensus building since a great deal of product security is working with teams throughout the organization.
• The desire to iterate and grow your team and this function as Clear Street continues to grow and evolve. Product security isn’t static… Product security is a journey… Product security doesn’t sit still… or whatever metaphor you’d like to use to describe it.
• Experience with software security tooling such as vulnerability scanners, static and dynamic analysis tools, use and abuse case testing.
• Creating security training and training around other types of emergent system properties.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with development in financial services and financial technology organizations.
• Specific experience with AWS and its suite of cloud services.
