Product Strategy Lead
Codecademy’s mission is to provide people with the skills they need to find jobs while offering them a personalized learning experience that caters to each individual’s goals. We are looking to hire a Product Strategy, Associate to join the team responsible for building the systems that deliver personalized code support and empower our users through the difficult journey of learning to code.
Our Product team designs and implements new product ideas that affect the learning of millions of people per year. Once we identify a place that our product line that can improve, we partner with multiple cross-functional teams including Engineering, Design, Curriculum, and People Ops to ensure new products successfully launch and grow.
This role is designed to take people with great analysis/implementation skills and allow them to learn the ropes of the startup world. Work as a Product Strategy Lead will help Codecademy grow our business into areas, regions, and product offerings.
Ideal candidates will come from more traditional business backgrounds, such as management consulting, investment banking, or research and will be able to see first hand how a fast-growing startup operates.
Role & Responsibilities
- Work across the company to identify strategic opportunities for growth and ways to improve our business.
- Design & implement your proposals with stakeholder buy-in, from design to shipping, and be responsible for the results.
- Help coordinate product development and collect and analyze data to determine the effect of our experiments
- Research the best implementation of product ideas from other companies and outline how we would use those at Codecademy.
- Coordinate and drive processes such as investor materials, M&A research, and board materials.
- Drive the implementation of new product features through clear communication and project management.

Requirements:
- 5 to 8 years of experience at a leading management consulting firm, investment bank, or research firm
- The ability to coordinate multiple teams to ensure that product features are released on time and to specification.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to put a decision-making framework around complex/unclear problems.
- Expertise in MS Excel and SQL
