SUMMARY:

BioLite is seeking a well-rounded Program Manager to join the team in bringing products through the development process and into the market.  In this role, you’ll work with the Product Development team, the Manufacturing team, and Supply-Chain partners to bring new, innovative products to the market

TITLE: Program Manager

HOURS: Full-time
LOCATION: Brooklyn, NY

REPORTS TO: Director of Manufacture

COMPENSATION: Salary is competitive with other early-stage companies, including benefits, bonus plan, and equity stock options.

KEY ACTIVITIES:

  • Lead programs in the development and transfer to manufacturing of New Products
  • Track deliverables and ensure cross-functional coordination
  • Track and Manage Program Risk, ensuring appropriate mitigation.
  • Ensure programs meet Schedule, Performance, Safety, Quality, and Cost goals.
  • Present program status to leadership team through collaboration with program team
  • Ensure successful transfer of designs to manufacturing
  • Support Manufacturing, Quality, Testing, Supply-Chain and other technical roles as needed.
  • Own the schedule for the program.
  • Travel anticipated approximately 20% of the time.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • An Engineering degree is required for this position
  • 5+ years’ experience in a relevant field working on developing hardware
  • Experience in Consumer Electronics product development and manufacturing
  • Experience transferring product designs to Contract Manufacturers in China
  • Accountability, sense of humor, proactive nature and work ethic
  • Extremely detail oriented and organized
  • Good working knowledge of plastic materials, injection molding, sheet metal, and die-casting is a plus
  • Experience with Solidworks, ProE, or AutoDesk is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to communicate ideas clearly through sketches/email.
