Senior Director of Product Management - Core Applications
The Senior Director of Product Management, Core Applications will be responsible for Addepar’s full application suite. In this role, reporting to the Chief Product Officer and located in our New York City Office, you will have significant strategic impact and influence on the direction of the company, driving the evolution of our platform and solutions with a talented team of product managers, engineers, and UX professionals, while partnering closely with leaders across the business to build the preeminent technology and services that serve investment teams in wealth management and beyond.
Responsibilities:
- Set the vision and define the product roadmap for our core performance reporting platform, client portal, and mobile solutions
- Ability to drive strategic vision while working closely with cross-functional teams from Product Management, Engineering and UX and to deliver strong results
- Grow and lead a small team of product managers and subject matter experts in charge of building new user-driven products and workflow solutions
- Partner closely with other product leaders to create a seamless user experience across the Addepar platform
- Proactively engage with existing and prospective customers to understand their problems, challenges, and inefficiencies to inform product roadmap
- Drive business growth utilizing measures of usage, product quality, development velocity, and uptime as key performance indicators
Requirements:
- 10+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of developing and launching successful data-intensive, highly customizable and interactive enterprise software solutions
- Proven leader that has built and directly managed teams of 4+ product developers
- Deep knowledge of user-centered design principles and passion for creating simple, seamless workflow solutions
- Strong analytics and prioritization skills and experience applying them in the development of a product roadmap
- Full command of the product development life-cycle, from market analysis to problem identification, validation, solution development, go-to-market and beyond
- Excellent client-facing communications skills including product presentations as well as gathering user feedback
- Expertise in agile software development methodologies and collaboration with engineering, UX, and QA to execute a product strategy
- Passion for the finance and technology space and solving previously intractable problems at the heart of investment management
- Comfortable in the trenches with rolled-up sleeves in addition to empowering and delegating to team members
