THE STORY

Like most guys, we just wanted getting dressed to be easy. But somewhere along the way things got complicated. Nothing seemed to fit quite right, quality was lacking, and shopping was a painful exercise of trial and error. There were somehow way too many options, or none. And whenever we did find something we liked, we knew it would be a little different the next time we looked. So, we decided to fix that.

We started with underwear and socks, things that could make you more comfortable every single day. Since then, we’ve gone on to reinvent other essentials that didn’t meet our standards for comfort, performance, quality, or design. If you only need one version of it, we make the best possible version—and once we get it right, we don’t change a thing.

THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to join our growing product and merchandising team. In this role you’ll have the unique opportunity to sit at the center of our product strategy, creating a cohesive merchandising plan that aligns our product design & development with inventory planning & buying. You will drive our seasonal and new product assortments, ensuring that we always have newness to complement our core replenishment business. Cross functionally, you will play an integral role ensuring alignment around product assortments, launches, new developments, and strategy through merchandising presentations and ownership of seasonal line plans. Externally, you will manage our third-party fulfillment center and retail partnerships.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Product Strategy – Develop a strategic point-of-view on existing and new category growth that aligns with the company vision and growth strategy. Identify whitespace opportunities by staying on top of trends in the market, analyzing existing assortment performance, and integrating customer insights and feedback into the development process. Formulate pricing strategy in line with relevant market comps, margin requirements, and business objectives.
  • Merchandise Assortment – Create monthly and seasonal product assortments by connecting the product team’s visual strategy with our planning team’s inventory needs and using data to balance newness with core replenishment, all while maintaining our brand and product integrity.
  • Site Merchandising – Collaborate with the digital product and marketing teams to ensure new product launches are properly setup in our e-commerce back-end. Maintain site assortment and communicate when SKUs need to be taken down due to inventory constraints.
  • Operations – Manage our third-party fulfillment warehouse across SKU creation, packaging, seasonal gifting, product bundling, and third-party retail shipments.
  • Third-Party Retail – Execute and selectively grow our limited third-party distribution partnerships by negotiating favorable terms, fulfilling POs, upselling / renewals, retailer education, coordinating retailer AR with finance, and overseeing adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Cross functional partnership – Act as the merchandising liaison to the rest of the business, ensuring alignment around product strategy and branding, monthly assortments, and delivery timelines. Develop and present seasonal line plans and merchandising presentations to cross-functional team members.

WHAT WILL SET YOU UP FOR SUCCESS

  • Extensive e-commerce or fashion experience ideally focused on menswear
  • Successful track record of driving high volume business growth and bottom line results
  • Innovative, analytical, and strategic thinking skills with an entrepreneurial risk mentality
  • Strong communicator who can interact with multiple departments and employees of all levels
  • Confidence in making effective autonomous and group decisions in a timely manner
  • An elevated product sensibility and aesthetic
  • Attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to execute in a fast-paced, startup environment with tight deadlines, changing demands, and cross-functional dependencies
