The Product Team at Kinship is at the forefront of digital services and platforms for millennial pet parents. We’re product managers, designers, and researchers driving true innovation in the pet world through the development of platforms that benefit consumers and their pets. We’re an experienced team backed by a global leader and focused on the future of pet care. Our team is a go-getting, dedicated group committed to bringing everyone closer to their pet and making that experience about ease and joy.

HOW YOU’LL HELP EVERYONE PET PARENT LIKE A PRO

  • Grow a newly incubated product that supports the pet parenting journey, with a focus on building and improving features driving partnerships
  • Work hands-on with a cross-functional squad of Engineering, Design and Growth team members to deliver industry-leading experiences
  • Gather partner requirements (both internally and externally) to create engineering-ready specifications, user stories, and QA requirements while operating in a fast-paced, start-up environment
  • Partner closely with Design on wireframes and mockups (including visuals and UX) to be used in both pitches to prospective partners and implementation. All executions planned to create enthusiasm in and value for partners, leadership, and pet parents alike.
  • Act as a consultative resource and a solution creator for the partnership team as they develop pitches for clients
  • Support an agile scrum team by documenting and prioritizing a ticket backlog, identifying blockers, forecasting timelines, and planning releases
  • Be primary interface with partner stakeholder and execution team (client and/or agency) to deliver mutually-beneficial solutions according to agreed-upon specifications and timeline defined
  • Work with our Research team on qualitative and quantitative consumer data to create customer-centric products and partner-integrating solutions
  • Define KPIs for product launches and be fully accountable for accurate metrics collection from day 1 of the feature and beyond
  • Align and collaborate with product team peers who share resources, platform responsibilities or partner deliverables
  • Strike the right balance between efficiency and quality with an intuitive understanding of feature scope as it relates to resources and timelines
  • Roll-up sleeves on QA or anything else that ensures project delivery and success

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 3-4+ years of experience as a product manager at a digital B2B2C company
  • Experience creating detailed requirements, producing wireframes, leading prototype development and developing user stories
  • Strong familiarity with at least one major Agile methodology (scrum, kanban, agifall, etc)
  • Excellent skills from problem-solving to communication, with a focus on presentation skills engaging leadership and/or external partners
  • Demonstrable success in optimizing conversion goals or preferred user outcomes and compliance
  • High comfort with analytics and distilling product performance data into trends and actions
  • Direct experience with Jira and related project management tools to plan and manage epics, tickets, and Gantt charts
  • Self-starter drive to consistently get us to clarity and delivery while maintaining strong, positive relationships with engineering, design and growth teams
  • A proven track-record of successfully working in a fast-paced environment with resilience to evolving priorities and navigating with grace and flexibility
