Grubhub's Delivery product team is looking for a technical, customer-focused Product Manager to help us make the best delivery experience for millions of diners. You will develop a strategy and vision, build and execute feature roadmaps from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills and be comfortable interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels. In addition, the ability to work backwards and think from a customer perspective is crucial.
The Impact You Will Make
- Lead teams in defining products and roadmaps
- Drive strategic direction, define and articulate new opportunities, set goals and work closely with Data Scientists and Decision Engineers
- Partner with cross-functional teams to facilitate user research, develop requirements, create UI/UX designs, coordinate with engineers and execute on launching impactful products
- Define KPIs for new products/projects and assess existing ones for opportunities to innovate and improve the customer experience on Grubhub's platform
What You Bring to the Table
- At least 5+ years experience in Product Management; Logistics product experience is a plus
- Strong technical or product expertise, including the ability to analyze business problems effectively and work cross-functionally to prioritize and deliver on business impacting solutions. An innate understanding of technology and how to use it to deliver outstanding and innovative products is a must.
- Demonstrated experience with optimizing conversion funnels using analytics in a B2B environment
- Track record of success in fast-paced organizations with matrixed reporting environments, using collaborative approaches to drive effective solutions when no direct reporting relationship exists
- Demonstrated collaboration skills, working across a broad organization including technology, account management, marketing, finance, operations, business development and sales
- Demonstrated experience launching new products in high growth markets
- In-depth experience with product development in Agile and OKR methodologies preferably with squad and tribe structures
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to concretize and broadly socialize insights into stakeholder needs that the stakeholders themselves may not be able to articulate
- Familiarity and comfort with data, including the ability to query and organize data to analyze and monitor product health, set goals and metrics. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive prioritization and action on initiatives.
- Ability to weigh competing priorities, pushback on leadership, manage tradeoffs, and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with stakeholders, driving to consensus while maintaining a clear focus on overarching business priorities
- BA/BS required; MBA a plus
