Our team is growing quickly and has backgrounds from companies like Google Maps, Uber, Foursquare, and Facebook. We are headquartered in Union Square in New York City.
About the role
Radar is looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead product for place detection and geocoding APIs. You'll be a great fit for the role if you geek out on POI data and well-designed APIs. This position is based out of our NYC office and you will report to our CTO.
For candidates based in the United States, the base salary range for this full-time position is between $175,000 - $215,000/year.
In addition to cash compensation, Radar offers full-time employees a competitive equity plan with stock option grants. This is a meaningful ownership stake in the company that we provide to our employees as we build a category-defining company together.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. What you’ll do
- Lead product for place detection and geocoding APIs
- Drive our strategy for acquiring and curating point-of-interest (POI), address, and admin boundary data
- Work closely with co-founders and leadership to launch and grow new products
- Collaborate across Engineering, Design, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales to have a tight product feedback loop
- Prioritize product strategy and roadmap based on business strategy, market pull, and customer feedback
You should have
- 4+ years of product management experience at a fast-paced company
- Experience working with place data or geocoding APIs
- Experience leading the successful delivery of technical and innovative SaaS products
- Effective leadership skills to drive alignment across cross-functional teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precise articulation of customer problems to varying audiences
- Persistence and a whatever-it-takes approach to ensure that your product and team are successful
