Responsibilities & Requirements

Spot.IM is looking for a highly creative Sr. Director Product and Data Strategy Manager who will provide industry-specific strategic leadership and knowledge for the build out of a DMP and a self-served ad market place. You will serve as a publishing expert who develops and owns strategic initiatives that drive revenue growth, then deliver on the strategies through collaboration with other relevant thought partners across product, marketing, and business development. Candidates should understand how to identity new business opportunities, bundle products, develop packaging, and identify market gaps and needs.

This position reports directly to the VP of Revenue and will be part of a highly impactful team focused on bringing a DMP to fruition.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with executive leadership to build a strategic roadmap for the development of Data Management Platform (DMP) and a self-served ad market place
  • Evangelize the DMP program and gain “buy-in” from key stakeholders across the organization
  • Develop comprehensive platform training programs and provide ongoing DMP product expertise
  • Position the DMP for ongoing success by frequently highlighting the value prop, identifying and addressing competitive threat and advocating for your publisher needs 

Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of the ad-tech ecosystem and all of the entities that are utilized by a publisher, including brand safety and contextual solutions, DMP, advertising measurement, audience data and ad delivery platforms such as ad servers, SSPs and DSPs.
  • Deep knowledge of the publishing industry and competitive landscape for publisher solutions
  • Extensive years of ad-tech product strategy, product marketing, sales, sales engineering and / or business development experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of building and leading a product roadmap for new data products
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, technical and strategic thinking skill
  • Demonstrated ability to self-motivate, guide teams, work in teams and be flexible within a fast-paced and ever changing environment
