Mission

Lead our internal technology platform program to discover, define, and deploy scalable solutions for our developers, across all of our product lines. As the Senior Product Manager for the internal platform, you will work across all of our product teams to accelerate the pace of innovation, find ways to solve common problems at scale, define and promote our platform architecture strategy, and help us maximise the time we spend building value for our customers.

Outcomes

• Definition and execution of the platform vision and strategy
• Definition of platform standards and adoption of those standards across mParticle teams
• Visibility into our delivery teams’ software development process and systems, to find opportunities for improvement
• Proactive management of roadmap prioritization with all internal stakeholders, and across all product teams

Responsibilities

• Understand and analyze diverse requirements from our internal teams, think strategically, and lead with data-driven decisions
• Balance the needs and requirements of multiple stakeholders to effectively prioritize the roadmap to align with our long term platform vision
• Manage development timelines and ensure consistent, high quality, iterative delivery of platform capabilities
• Measure and track progress, focusing on demonstrable improvements across a complex product lifecycle
• Balance long-term sustainability versus short-term tradeoffs 

Competencies

• 6+ years of product management experience at software technology companies, with at least 3 years of managing technical products
• Passion for software and programming with experience across all phases of the software development life cycle
• A proven track record of success in working with complex technical systems across multiple teams and stakeholders to accomplish great things
• Technical experience with platforms, APIs, SaaS architectures, including containers, microservices & cloud services
• Excellent written communication and presentation skills for audiences across skill levels and technical aptitudes
