Overview:
Warner Bros Discovery Direct to Consumer (DTC), a division of WBD, is looking for a Senior Product Manager to help understand, prioritize and oversee product strategy and execution pertaining to User Identity.
In this key connecting role, you will collaborate with business stakeholders and a cross-functional team of Distribution Partners, Designers, Technical Program Managers and Engineers to drive new features and improvements which aim to remove customer frustration and pain points related to user identity, security, and account management across our portfolio of supported devices and platforms.
You will bring experience and deep understanding of defining and managing user identity across large-scale subscription products.
You have strong collaboration and analytical skills. You are an effective cross-functional team leader who can drive successful the successful implementation and delivery of initiatives that span multiple teams.
You have strong product sense, as well as organizational and problem-solving skills. You are also experienced and comfortable navigating ambiguity and influencing without authority. You know what good looks like.
Occasional travel required. This position reports to the Director of Product Management.
Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an internal subject matter expert on matters pertaining to User Identity
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create product requirements pertaining to User Identity
  • Develop relationships with key technical teams and business counterparts within WBD.
  • Define and prioritize business requirements consisting of epic charters, user stories, and functional requirements
  • Communicate vision, strategy, objectives and KPIs for new features
  • Collaborate with product designers to develop best-in-class user flows
  • Liaise with WBD legal, marketing and technical teams to ensure platform guidelines, requirements and updates are communicated with an understanding of potential roadmap impact
  • Partner closely with WBD distribution, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure successful execution of initiatives
  • Be the customer-expert and solve customer problems; be fully knowledgeable of pain points experienced by customers and work with the team to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Define and source necessary performance analytics and reporting metrics to enable data-driven feature decisions and roadmap planning


Qualifications:

  • 4-6+ years of solid product/client management experience
  • Strong understanding of SVOD marketplace and competitive dynamics
  • Detailed knowledge of popular video streaming platforms (e.g) Netflix and Disney+ and subscription models
  • Direct experience in detailed planning and prioritization of epics and road mapping feature requests
  • Exceptionally strong communicator, skilled at aligning business leaders and managing shifting priorities
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts and provide the right level of detail to executive leaders
  • Drive technical communications with strategic partners to help drive internal and external alignment
  • Proven track record of understanding product growth and developing strategic roadmaps
  • High comfort level in analytics and generating business insights from data trends
  • Demonstrated ability to create Business Requirements Documents with little oversight
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience


In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $126,350 - $234,650 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
