As a Product Manager, you will define the direction of an important part of Sealed’s business. Working cross functionally, you will identify and define the product solutions needed to realize Sealed’s vision to modernize every home to be healthy, comfortable, and cleaner for the planet.

What will you do?

A few examples of the challenging but impactful problems you may solve include:

• How do we provide initial project proposals without any human input?
• What clean energy measures should we offer to customers? How does this vary by customer type and geography?
• How do we make our financing product feel safer while maintaining alignment on project performance?
• How do we make it easy for our installation partners to take the post-project pictures we need to pay them quickly?
• How do we report our project performance data to banks, insurance companies, and utilities in an automated manner?

In order to meet these challenges, you will define and align product actions across Sealed in order to meet important business outcomes, including:

• Identifying potential product solutions based on research, analysis, and internal team insights
• Prioritizing product solutions based on Sealed’s product strategy, expected outcomes, and available resources
• Designing product solutions based on market research, internal and external interviews, and controlled experimentation
• Aligning with key business stakeholders on proposed product solutions, including implementation details and timelines
• Tracking product outcome progress and proposing adjustments to meet outcome goals

What success looks like

As a Sealed Product Manager, you know exactly where to focus to move the needle on key business outcomes. You understand your part of the business better than anyone else at the company, and can articulate the potential tradeoffs and challenges that must be overcome to hit important business goals. 

While holding strong points of view on Sealed’s product direction, you are viewed as a partner by the rest of the team and accomplish most of your goals through “soft power” strategies to drive alignment across the team. And you do this by building trust through diligent research, active listening with team members, and detailed PRDs. 

Most importantly, by working collaboratively with members of the Sealed team, you create results. Metrics that haven’t moved in years are improving on a regular basis. Requirements

• 4+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years of experience at a high growth, Series A or B company
• Product management experience leading a team through a full product lifecycle, from research to scoping and prioritization to execution
• Experience working with a high volume, physical product
• Experience building products in a 3-sided marketplace (Airbnb, HomeAdvisor, DoorDash, Lyft, etc.)
• Bachelor’s degree or higher

• Consumer financing experience
• Engineering background or experience
• Design background or experience
