EquiLend is seeking a Swaps Trading Product Specialist to be based in our Midtown New York office. The Product Specialist will work with clients to identify trading opportunities in TRS trading in the North American market. They will work with developers to constantly evaluate & evolve the technology solution for clients in order to remain the most relevant platform offering to the marketplace. In addition, the Product Specialist will proactively seek to engage regulators and clients to help foster a CCP solution to enhance the product offering, by leveraging the firm's robust infrastructure and existing connectivity to Central Clearance Participant organizations.

The candidate will use their relationships and depth of market knowledge to grow the product line while ensuring EquiLend maintains the highest standard of regulatory integrity. He/ she will work with the dealer community to understand the potential market impact of regulatory changes on the equity swaps business model.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain excellent business relationships across our client base by understanding and responding to their needs and requirements whilst providing a consistently high quality of service
• Understand and be accountable for client usage, revenue growth and ensure retention
• Provide a timely response to client queries regarding EquiLend's trading services
• Conduct regular client meetings and manage resulting action items
• Identify new trading opportunities for our clients and manage until fruition
• Provide demonstrations, onboarding support, SME client training for the trading platform
• Work with clients to understand, enhance and investigate potential trading strategies (index, cross-currency or other scale capacity ideas)
• Obtain detailed client product feedback and assist the product owner and various team members in the software development lifecycle to incorporate the feedback whenever relevant and appropriate
• Participate in business planning and development meetings on a regular basis

Requirements

• Preferred experience in the securities finance or financial services industry
• Experience in facilitating discussions with clients and internal teams
• Experience with collateral trading is preferred but not required
• Demonstrates the ability to build rapport and interact effectively with all levels and across all areas of the organization
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to details and be meticulous on deliverables
• Ability to practice good judgment and uphold strong work ethics is a must
• Experience working with and querying large data sets
