Joining Collibra’s Product Management team:

You will be joining the Product Management team, reporting directly to the Cloud Ops Product Lead. We are looking for an individual with experience and passion for managing products, defining product features, and owning the vision and execution of the roadmap.  During that work you will collaborate with primary stakeholders including: 

  • Customer business and technical teams
  • Collibra sales and pre-sales teams, customer success, coaching and marketing, professional services
  • Local stakeholder engineering teams that develop capabilities on top of the product
  • Act as a product champion within the company

Product Managers at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Familiarity with information security and data privacy standards and guidelines.
  • Driving roadmap and quarterly planning process for compliance initiatives across Product and Engineering.
  • Establishing, implementing, and optimizing processes that keep Collibra in compliance with relevant requirements.
  • Translating regulatory requirements into concise and practical engineering requirements.
  • Collaborating with the product team including engineers, architects, and designers. Tracking and managing progress, risks, and dependencies of product deliverables to understand the cost structure of your product. 

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS) in computer science or comparable technical field; 
  • Experience gathering technical requirements, creating specifications and workflow documents for product and feature releases; proficient in Google slides presentations, experience with Jira a plus
  • Proficiency with Agile, Continuous Integration/Development, DevOps SDLC models; 
  • Proven track record of successful product launches, taking ownership, and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
  • 3+ years of experience in Product Management or Technical Management
  • Experience with SOC, ISO, FedRAMP, or other security compliance requirements in a software company will be a plus.

You Are:

  • Passionate about metrics and quantitative analysis; able to extract meaning from data; Tableau/BI reporting tool expertise a plus
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
  • An excellent verbal and written communicator who is comfortable presenting to both  colleagues and external vendors

Reporting to Collibra’s Cloud Ops Product Lead, measures of success are:

  • Within the first month we would expect the TPM to complete the onboarding process, meet different teams in the organization, understand Collibra's vision and strategy, study the various products and services, start attending daily scrum calls and Agile ceremonies with the development team.
  • Within your third month we would expect the TPM to get familiar with the prioritized backlog in Jira, able to gather requirements from internal and external stakeholders, work closely with operations and engineering teams, document business and technical requirements, participate in cross planning meetings, understand metrics and build reports.
  • Within your sixth month we would expect the TPM to create clear goals for the rest of the quarter and facilitate quarterly prioritization and planning, manage production engineering requests throughout the Product Life Cycle to deliver a winning product, and make changes in processes based on learnings from the first few months.
