About the Role

Pawp is looking for a Technical Product Manager to join the team to help set up the organization and processes to enable our product and engineering teams to work as efficiently and creatively as possible. You will work closely with the CTO and Head of Product to take high-level roadmaps and break them down into biweekly sprints and tickets. You will help shape the product vision and strategy as well as partner with engineering teams to help ship well-crafted products. What You'll do

• Take lead on biweekly sprints and weekly stand-ups for the engineering and product team
• Help develop product specs and coordinate feature lifecycles from ideation, design, spec, and implementation
• Help establish and influence engineering processes, tools, and systems that will allow us to scale the code base, productivity, and the team

What You'll Need

• Minimum 3+ years of relevant work experience
• BS (or higher) in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent technical experience
• High-functioning organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to turn business and product ideas into engineering solutions
• Alignment with Pawp's core values of providing pets the best care possible

Nice to Haves

• Familiarity with or desire to learn our tech stack which includes, but not limited to: Python, GraphQL, AWS, RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, Twilio, Node, Go
• Familiarity with Linear, Jira, ClickUp, or another task management tool
• Experience managing Engineering ICs
• Passion for pets
