About the Role
We are hiring a Vice President to focus on New Product Development. This is a newly created role within the Fund Management and Research department and reports into the Managing Director, Head of New Product Development. You will work with a team of 18 who are responsible for new product development, product structuring, manager and fund due diligence, manager onboarding and fund lifecycle management. This team stands at the heart of iCapital’s growth into new markets and fund structures.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and support the preparation of various materials needed to market new funds
- Conduct documentation and upkeep of various governance systems related to ongoing fund management
- Lead projects onboarding new funds including responsibilities assigned to the successful candidate
- Execute processes related to adding new funds and structures to the platform, entering new markets and building processes related to these funds within the iCapital ecosystem
- Help lead the product lifecycle development and drive decisions on entering new markets and adding new fund structures to our menu, such as registered funds, private funds, and off-shore structures
- Leverage experience to help shape iCapital’s service offering across various fund structures
- Prepare and present new funds to various decision-making groups
- Assist in various fund launch activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or another related field
- 10+ years of product structuring experience with exposure to fund administration, fund management or custodial relationships
- Experience in Alternative Investments with a focus in private funds, co-investment and off-shore structures is required
- Positive attitude, and a desire to work in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize assignments
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Comfort with technology and software development process is a plus
