We are looking for an experienced executive who has extensive knowledge of the digital advertising market and/or video landscape, as well as experience driving the global product strategy. As the VP of Product Management Video you will work in close collaboration with software engineers to create, develop and bring new products to the AdTech market. Your subject matter expertise of the digital video ad ecosystem will help us define and mature our digital video measurement products, reporting and analytics. You are an expert on video ad formats and how video ads are packaged for delivery across web, mobile and CTV and can provide competitive analyses, gather market requirements, and define the product roadmap for our video products.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead a highly collaborative cross-functional team to oversee the planning, development and design of strategy from product initiation decision through the end of the product life cycle
- Collaborate with participants in the digital video advertising ecosystem to develop new measurement standards for cross-screen video advertising
- Establish and communicate a prioritized roadmap for internal and external stakeholders
- Build relationships with customers and non-customers to garner feedback for the development of product offerings
- Communicate the value of potential business opportunities to multiple internal stakeholders including: engineering, client services, operations, sales, marketing, and executives and would be familiar with the Media Rating Council
- Work with Product Marketing on the execution of advertising, promotional, and sales programs to help evangelize both new and existing product features and capabilities
- Be the visible advocate for your products internally and externally
- Work with business stakeholders to define the video strategy at IAS, helping to define the technology and workflow enhancements necessary to implement those video initiatives.
- Collaborate with members throughout the company to identify areas of need and come up with solutions to our problems
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other related field; advanced degree preferred
- Agile product development with an emphasis on continuous improvement
- Intellectual curiosity, passion for learning new technology, able to identify market trends
- Technical, operational, and marketplace knowledge of online media buying and selling, advertising technology, solutions, and ad network business models with digital advertising
- Knowledge of IAB standard video ad formats and experience establishing device labs
- Experience with video ad buying a plus\
- Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines. good organizational, planning & time management skills.
- A track record of building, maintaining and managing strong relationships within an international business and across many different stakeholder groups.
- You are self-driven, motivated, and ability to drive objectives forward and see projects and initiatives through to completion
- You are able to effectively communicate technical concepts and project status to different audiences
