Meeting your future team:

The VP of Product Marketing is responsible for establishing differentiated market positioning, hard-hitting messaging, and field enablement to drive demand, awareness, and growth. 

This leader partners closely with the product, field, and broader marketing team to investigate future growth, develop revenue-focused product strategies and create best-in-class go-to-market architecture and plans to establish Collibra as the Data Intelligence Platform.

This individual is an exceptional strategic thinker and communicator with a deep understanding of the business side of enterprise technology and a track record of success

The best candidates will have significant experience leading product marketing teams with high-profile B2B SaaS companies and a passion for taking the complex and making it simple through compelling stories.

This is a global role that will report directly to our CMO and will lead a team of product marketers.

The VP of Product Marketing at Collibra is responsible for:

  • Go-To-Market strategy and architecture: translate the company’s business objectives, market opportunities and offerings into a formal, cohesive go-to-market architecture and prioritize audiences for Collibra’s offerings; move from product to audience-centric
  • Identifying and sizing buyer audiences: identify market opportunities and areas for growth while accurately sizing potential segments that have the greatest propensity to buy products in the portfolio today
  • Personas and buyer’s journey mapping: understand buyer audiences and how they buy to inform campaigns, content and innovation strategies
  • Product and solutions messaging and positioning: craft audience-centric messaging and value propositions that resonate for Collibra’s offerings
  • Bringing offerings to market: take a strategic approach to product and feature readiness/launch with an enterprise-wide process and template - that incorporates products, solutions and services where applicable, with defined accountability and metrics, with use cases aligned to the customer buying process and with a continuous internal and customer feedback loop to influence the product and market development roadmap.
  • Field knowledge transfer: increase sales of Collibra’s offerings via training, content, and programs for sellers, including ready-to-use materials for the Field Enablement  team such as field training, presentation materials, FAQs, and battle cards

You Have:

  • 15+ years of experience building and driving results-driven go-to-market strategies and product launches in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Proven experience defining and executing growth strategies through new markets, new buyers, new offerings, better productivity and/or mergers and acquisitions
  • Proven experience defining a collaboration model for new product introduction and release readiness across sales, customer, product and marketing teams
  • You are a proven leader of high-performing marketing teams within a fast-paced growth environment
  • Background in marketing technical products, especially cloud and platform products
  • Track record of creating capabilities that drive significant revenue growth 
  • Preferred experience working within a SiriusDecisions marketing ecosystem with strong understanding of audience framework/personas, messaging and value propositions and product intelligence

  • Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with leaders across the marketing team and other departments

  • Ambitious, resilient, persistent, competitive, goal and results-oriented, optimistic, proactive and curious
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented with the ability to go from 1,000 feet as a leader to 10 feet as an executor as needed
