VP of Product

BentoBox is seeking a VP of Product to execute on the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our suite of products that support the hospitality industry. Reporting to the CEO, the VP of Product will bring a creative and analytical mentality to the company, and will work closely with other leaders across the organization to build upon our best-in-class product and product team to bring real value to the restaurant industry.


  • Execute on the product vision, strategy, and roadmap
  • Drive the success of the product function at BentoBox, ensuring that we maintain the highest level of quality and integrity
  • Align the company’s engineers, designers, and marketers around measurable goals that will support business objectives
  • Identify and implement product-oriented KPIs to ensure we are operating efficiently and allocating resources accordingly
  • Connect with our customers by conducting ongoing user/market research and competitive analyses to inform new/existing product user experience and direction
  • Establish and be an evangelist for an efficient product delivery process within the department
  • Understand the competitive landscape, customer insights, regulations, and other elements to ensure that we make informed decisions that are in line with industry trends
  • Create discipline around measurement and reporting for each product line
  • Build and develop a talented team that understands our customers and delivers products that exceed their expectations
  • Uphold BentoBox’s core mission, vision, and values

Skills and Attributes

  • 8+ years working within the product organization at high growth technology companies
  • History of bringing innovative digital products to market from within a product-driven technology organization
  • Ability to envision and define product strategy by producing clear requirements and user stories
  • Keen eye for, and experience implementing, products with seamless and elegant UX/UI
  • Deep respect for design as a crucial part to delivering a best-in-class, delightful product
  • Extraordinary leadership and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience scaling and managing a product team at a growing organization
  • Collaborative nature, with the ability to drive change within an organization
  • Experience building products for SMBs a plus
  • Fluency in analytics, and using data to inform the direction of the product
