ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a Vice President of Product to take full responsibility for the success of existing, new, and future CompStak products, spanning customer development, design, code, delivery, as well as metrics and revenue goals. 
This is an amazing opportunity to lead a team that drives everything our members and customers see and use every day. You’ll formulate strategy and implement product changes that drive CompStak’s goals, and as part of the CompStak leadership team, you’ll identify and set those goals. 
As VP of Product, you’ll report directly to the Co-Founders (CEO & CTO), while taking full control over CompStak’s product culture and team. You’ll directly manage the existing CompStak product team, including hiring new team members, while also managing new products, projects and cross-functional teams directly.
YOUR DAY TO DAY

Team Management – Managing a team of motivated Product Managers and designers; helping them define and execute strong product plans that support the business, giving them clear and actionable feedback, and supporting their career growth.

Customer Development and Research - Talking with our members and customers to learn what they want and what is missing in our products, and leveraging a data driven approach to capturing and measuring their feedback.

Product Management - Translating customer needs into features and then prioritizing those features. You'll be planning the future of the product to meet our goals and targets. You will manage internal and external resources to meet those goals and work with designers, developers and data to get those projects successfully completed. 

Product Design - Translating customer needs into features. Plan those features as projects. Design the screens and interaction needed. 

Brand and Marketing Support - You'll become the go to expert for detailed information on our product and you’re the guardian of our brand. You’ll support marketing’s effort in clearly communicating our product features and benefits.

YOUR EXPERIENCE 

  • 7+ years of experience in software product management, with an expertise in building data products
  • Previous experience working at startups is a must
  • Commercial Real Estate, SaaS, or Fintech experience preferred
  • Hands on experience in UX Design and User Research
  • Proven success leading a team of high-performing product managers
  • Empathetic and clear communicator to teammates, stakeholders and our customers
  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field preferred
  • Process Oriented - You have a well-defined product management process and you can run that process from start to finish – from user research to product roadmaps and prototypes
  • Player Coach – You can guide others in their work even better than you can do it yourself
