We’re looking for an Agile Project Manager to join our growing team! This position is based in New York City. The Senior Technical Project Manager is responsible for managing technical talent in both the Systems and Product teams, assist product owners in scoping requirements and ensuring tasks completed on time. This role reports to the Chief Financial Officer.

Responsibilities:

  • Enforces Scrum framework as the Scrum Master.
  • Acts as a coach and motivates the development team.
  • Drives the execution of sprint items.
  • Removes impediments or guides the teams to remove impediments.
  • Facilitates Scrum meetings, discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
  • Shields the teams from outside distractions and interferences.
  • Provides insight for next sprint improvement.
  • Provides support to the teams using servant leadership skills whenever possible, and leading by example.
  • Manages systems and software that the teams own, such as Salesforce, AWS, Pivotal Tracker, Campaign Monitor, Eventbrite, SurveyGizmo, etc.
  • Manages full-stack developers, QA tester, and Salesforce administrators/developers.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or has equivalent demonstrated technical proficiency
  • At least 3 years of experience in a technical project management role or previous experience as a team lead
  • Good skills and knowledge of facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
  • Experience with Agile approaches and techniques such as Scrum, Kanban, XP, user stories, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, etc.
  • Experience with the Salesforce CRM Platform or other relational databases  (SOQL or SQL) preferred
  • Experience with AWS preferred
  • Experience working alongside a team of developers and working in a rapidly changing development environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Commitment to accomplishing goals within the defined timelines and meet project schedule deadlines
