Job Description

In alignment with our Company's strategy to leverage digital and data, Human Health launched the HH Insights, Analytics, and Data (HHIAD) organization in support of its aspiration to become the premier data-first commercial biopharma organization by 2023. This centralized organization applies data and analytics across the phases of our commercialization process: pipeline and business development, commercial strategy development and ecosystem engagement. The HHIAD team is innovating how we understand our patients and their needs. Working cross-functionally we are inventing new ways of communicating, measuring and interacting with our customers and patients leveraging digital, data, and analytics.
Position Description:
The Advanced Analytics Project Management Lead will support the design, scale-up, and operations of data science activities in our Advanced Analytics Center in Pune, India. This role is US-based and will interface between the HHIAD teams, and the Advanced Analytics Center in Pune, India. The launch of the Advanced Analytics Center is a key strategic lever in support of the data and analytics transformation, that will scale to up to 200+ data scientists over the next 5 years. The data science team will support a portfolio of work across all critical business functions which includes early indication forecasting, market sizing, launch planning, patient finder, and next best engagement. The position requires a strong understanding of the analytics activity chain, its business impact, and engagement with analytics teams both in the US and in India.
The preferred candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, strong leadership skills, and an ability to manage business operations. This role will require interfacing and collaborating with various analytics teams so the ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the design, scale-up, and operations of the analytics group within the Advanced Analytics Center
  • Develop a strategy and implementation plan to deliver business impact from a global inhouse analytics center
  • Put processes in place for the efficient management of the Advanced Analytics Center across financials, staffing & onboarding, operations, learning & development, and metrics
  • Lead engagement with business leaders to drive awareness of the Advanced Analytics Center capabilities and operating model across the US and global teams
  • Shape the hiring criteria and learning and development programs of the analytics team to mature data science capabilities in the center
  • Develop standards and processes for analytics solution development, and implementation, in close collaboration with analytics teams in the US
  • Manage and track the demand of analytics use case to be delivered via teams in the Advanced Analytics Center
  • Facilitate the appropriate daily, weekly and monthly reviews of aggregate metrics around analytics delivery
  • Establish and manage close relationships with analytics, business, and vendor stakeholders


Position Qualifications :
Education Minimum Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in analytics/quantitative related disciplines


Required Experience and Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in business management, or analytics delivery roles
  • Ideally prior management consulting experience
  • Prior business management experience within an analytics organization, or in an analytics delivery role
  • Ability to manage teams locally and remote teams across time-zones
  • Experience with communicating to senior audiences
  • Self-motivation, proactivity, and ability to work independently with minimum direction
  • Proven leadership and influencing skills, along with good analytical / problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to navigate a complex matrix environment
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and lead with diverse groups of work colleagues and positively manage ambiguity

  • Healthcare or pharmaceutical industry knowledge
