Peloton is looking for a passionate and talented Consumer Strategy & Insights Manager to support our growing team. This person will conduct research and analysis that will inform strategic business decisions across Global Marketing, Product Marketing, Media, Communications, Creative, and Product teams. They will translate research learnings and results into story-driven analyses that clearly communicate findings and implications for cross-functional stakeholders. They will manage several key projects for the team, inclusive of both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, and be responsible for managing complex workstreams with agency and vendor partners. This person will report to the Senior Director of Consumer Strategy & Insights.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage qualitative and quantitative research to inform key business initiatives and marketing priorities, collaborating with senior team members on certain strategic projects (e.g. consumer lifecycle research and go-to-market/ messaging research)
- Partner with campaign and program leads to develop clear marketing strategy briefs and help drive effectiveness of our biggest marketing efforts
- Synthesize research findings into actionable insights for the marketing team
- Track brand and business KPIs over time to help the marketing team understand efficacy of campaigns and initiatives
- Develop questionnaires, sample and data analysis plans, screeners, discussion guides, and reporting
- Lead day-to-day project management and budget management
- Leverage a mix of vendors and primary research to always keep pulse on consumer desires
- Deepen the organizational knowledge of our target consumers as well as our members, representing the consumer and their needs to all teams across the business.
- 4+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience conducting primary and secondary research across mixed methodologies (quantitative + qualitative research)
- Analytical mindset with an ability to quickly grasp the business and marketing landscape for our category
- Excellent project management skills and experience managing multiple vendor relationships
- Must be an independent, strategic, and creative thinker who is a strong team player (no job is too small or too large) and willing to take on additional responsibilities as necessary
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle an array of tasks on tight timelines
- Comfortable navigating large datasets and a demonstrated willingness to get their hands dirty with internal reporting tools
- Skilled in Excel and Powerpoint, with ability to translate to Google Suite
