Codecademy is looking for a knowledgeable programmer or instructor to help write project management content for our Codecademy for Business unit. We are searching for individuals highly skilled in project management and knowledgeable about educational best practices to help create new content for this effort. The Project Management Content Contributor works directly with the Codecademy Curriculum team to author articles, lessons, quizzes, and projects on various topics to be released to the Codecademy Catalog. This is a paid, remote, contract position.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design and author articles, lessons, quizzes, and projects.
- Think pedagogically to break down technical concepts into digestible components.
- Collaborate with Codecademy's Curriculum team to craft learning outcomes and build a compelling learner experience.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Experience with project management methodologies, including waterfall and agile.
- Experience writing educational content that teaches project management concepts.
- A strong command of written and spoken English.
- An ability to produce educational writing that requires very little editing.
- An ability and willingness to integrate feedback from Curriculum Developers and Subject Matter Experts.
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT
- PMP Certification.
- Experience using the Codecademy platform.
- Experience writing educational content that reaches a wide audience in a digital format.
Note: This role will require you to submit a writing sample in the application.
This is a paid, remote, contract position. You can expect anywhere from ~10-30 hours of work per week, with the freedom to work wherever and at whatever times you want.
