Job Description

The Delivery Orchestrator/Scrum Master will join a diverse team to advance modern ways of working across our IT organization. Delivery Orchestrator/Scrum Master is dedicated to a product line within the supply chain analytics portfolio. The primary responsibility of this role is to drive the delivery of value, by identifying and removing obstacles for the product team and designing and/or improving processes.
The Delivery Orchestrator/Scrum Master acts as a servant leader, focuses on empowering the product line team and coaching team members towards an agile mindset. We are looking for a hands-on person that is invested into the teams' internal processes and dynamics, while taking the ownership for removing obstacles caused by external factors and dependencies that may hinder the team's progress.
In this role, Delivery Orchestrator/Scrum Master will be managing the portfolio that develops and enables the product line. The challenging, fast-paced, and visible initiatives deliver significant and measurable value to our Company. This role performs a key collaborative capability function, often bringing together subject matter expert contributors from across IT groups. The key responsibilities of this role may include but are not limited to:

  • By creating early visibility and management of risks, impediments, dependencies, and assumptions, Delivery Orchestrators enable the team to increase predictability, manage expectations, and optimize capacity. Provides early visibility to risks, impediments, and helps with risk management
  • The delivery orchestrator helps teams effectively make and meet commitments and execute in a tactical and coordinated way. Works with the Business Technology Partners, Product Managers and Technical Leads to deconstruct higher level outcomes into Product backlogs and drive deliver with squads. Ensures effective orchestration and alignment of multiple Squad deliverables. Proactively and effectively manages dependencies across multiple teams thus mitigating the impact on delivery timelines.
  • The delivery orchestrator will coordinate activities across and within product lines to ensure overall delivery of value.
  • Enables cross-functional squads to develop medium-to-complex technology solutions by maintaining a keen focus on Agile methodology that enables the teams to run as smoothly as possible. Facilitates scrum ceremonies. Assist with product backlog maintenance and prioritization. Develop metrics to track Product progression and successes. Participate and lead Agile Way of Working through Scrum. Coordinate and manage cross-functional initiatives. Analyze, Identify, and implement ideas for continuous improvements.
  • Includes the determination, monitoring, and review of project/program scope, costs, schedule, resources, inter-dependencies and risks. Manages Financials across all squads within the control tower platform; squads could span multiple business cases. Contracts/TO/PO Management. Vendor engagement.
  • Staffing of the team and managing team allocation.
  • Release Standardization and Coordination
  • Working with RMO for deployment
  • SDLC compliance across releases
  • Stays abreast on product line related capabilities and processes
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and succeed in a dynamic and complex team environment


Education Minimum Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree or international equivalent from an accredited university


Qualifications :

  • Scrum certified or 5 + years of working experience in a Scrum Master role (i.e., understanding of scrum principles, practices, and theory).
  • Working experience or certification in Agile, PMP, Six Sigma.
  • 5+ years of portfolio or program or project management experience, including large scale complex projects.
  • 5+ years of working experience working in any technology product implementation projects
  • Working experience managing projects that involve collaboration across multiple teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Experience with Data Management technologies and business analysis
  • Experience creating and managing content using tools such as SharePoint, JIRA, or Confluence.


Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Familiarity with ETL technologies or SQL or Data Management & Analytics platforms
  • Working knowledge of SDLC and project planning methods
  • Working knowledge of common tools used in this position - MS-Project, Spotfire, SharePoint, ALM and MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Atlassian tools (Jira & Confluence)
  • Working knowledge and experience in Test Management (planning, execution, tracking, reporting, documentation)
  • Good understanding of business processes and ability to connect requirements from different groups
