to work across different departments in the company to ensure each internal team has what it needs when it needs its for the integration to reach the market successfully.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Developer Relations Advocate is uniquely qualified to build, equip, and empower our platform partners to build the best experiences for organizers, coaches, parents, and athletes. Your mission is to help third parties build their products and businesses on the LeagueApps platform. You’ll work with technology companies across the spectrum of youth sports to develop rich product integrations that delight LeagueApps organizers, coaches, parents, and athletes alike. You'll get to work with the most innovative companies in the youth sports landscape. You'll understand our technology deeply, are not daunted by reading code, and can troubleshoot many technical questions on your own. You'll be an advocate for companies that build on LeagueApps, and inform the Platform team's roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the launch of several third party developed integrations on the LeagueApps platform
  • Update and manage our developer support documentation. Create your own samples and best practices to share, and help developers build better products and content.
  • Share our APIs and updates with the right audiences to strengthen our community, ensure their feedback makes it into the product, and support them to share content they've created.
  • Provide developers with LeagueApps Sandboxes, and be their expert to turn to when it comes to anything related to the LeagueApps product, including our core product and our Integration Center
  • Help developers through the development and marketing process
  • Test the integrations once developed and pushed by partners
  • Write internal Integration Product Briefs and help desk documents
  • Create a community for and amongst our developers
  • Help the engineering team create the strongest products possible by capturing developer feedback and contributing yourself.
  • Partner with engineering to keep the Developer community up to date on the roadmap and releases. Work closely with marketing and sales to tell new stories about how companies are building their companies and businesses on LeagueApps.
  • Speak at conferences and in other forums to reach LeagueApps partners and sports organizers.

Qualifications 

  • You're ready to own a program end-to-end and build an organization that will grow as a pillar of the company.
  • 1-2 years Developer Relations experience ideal, but not required
  • You have a strong technical background. Able to read code and communicate effectively with developers.
  • You're an exceptionally strong external communicator, adept at interfacing with partners and large audiences alike.
  • You're experienced at rallying internal and external stakeholders and project managing on a deadline. In particular, you've partnered with engineering teams to deliver anticipated products.
  • You're creative and have an informed interest in marketing and business opportunities that the LeagueApps platform will open and accelerate.
  • You're a skilled community leader, at your best when you're informing and engaging large communities so they gain members and momentum over time.

Location

We are located right off of Union Square across from the famous Irving Plaza. Currently, we are working fully remotely.
