About the Role:
Location: NYC or Remote
This role is focused on enhancing BentoBox’s capabilities through the identification and execution of special projects. The position is expected to provide thought leadership to cross functional project teams, stakeholders, and senior leaders all the way through to tactical elements of execution. You will use data - both quantitative and qualitative - to seek out, prioritize, and develop a project road map and be responsible for leading end-to-end project success. This role reports to the VP of Strategy & BizOps and will be collaborating with peers from Strategic Analytics to ensure solutions are actionable and data-driven.
This individual must be able to operate in a fast-paced environment and will be able to put structure around complex and often undefined business questions. You should be someone who is continuously looking for ways to improve business results by leveraging both outside-in (industry, competitive, etc.) and inside-out (capabilities, resources, etc.) lenses. You also must be comfortable using data and building strong relationships to drive change and influence without authority.
What You’ll Do:
- Support the creation, refinement, and success of short and longer-term special projects that will enable Bento to achieve its business goals and objectives
- Manage cross-functional special projects from end-to-end, ensuring efforts are appropriately prioritized and using data to evaluate and enhance project efficacy
- Leverage a data-driven approach that embraces both quantitative research and qualitative feedback from internal/external stakeholders to drive business outcomes
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional leaders from Marketing, Product, Enablement, etc. to ensure work is completed on-time and that each functional area is set-up for long-term success
- Flex and adapt as the organizations’ needs and priorities shift; be willing to play multiple roles to support project execution and enablement
Experience We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years experience working in fast-paced dynamic environments such as growth/late stage startups or management consulting
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional special projects from end-to-end, ensuring efforts are appropriately prioritized and using data to evaluate and enhance project efficacy
- Experience building a nimble, adaptable, high-impact team with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and focus on the highest-effort work
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to synthesize strategic insights in an actionable and compelling manner
- A proven commercial sense with a bias towards improving core business metrics (both top and bottom line)
- Ability to forge strong relationships with business partners at all levels of the organization
