The Vimeo Solutions team is dedicated to ensuring our users are getting the most out of Vimeo’s Enterprise offerings by providing a seamless implementation experience across platforms. In this role, you will build and lead a talented global technical services team spanning implementation, migrations, apps, and more. You and your team will work cross-functionally to build innovative solutions, processes, and services that drive the business forward.

As the Director,  you will play a critical role in developing professional services programs across our applications and platforms. We currently power over 2,500 apps and have facilitated the technical implementation of hundreds of channels and accounts. You will have the opportunity to craft creative technical services that allow our Enterprise clients to unlock the power of Vimeo, while simultaneously mentoring your team and improving existing processes. You will work closely with stakeholders and senior leadership across the organization, including Sales, Account Management, Product, Engineering, Finance, and more. You should have the ability to quickly understand technical concepts and advocate for your team's needs, and have a knack for prioritizing issues and making decisions quickly. 

What you’ll do:

  • Day-to-day global team leader responsible for supporting a smooth implementation and maintenance of technical service offerings
  • Ongoing, hiring, management, and mentorship of a team of engineers, designers, and app specialists
  • Organize your team and their workload efficiently across products and focuses, reporting on team capacity and quickly iterating based on demand when needed
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Experience team to understand opportunities for professional service packages or motions to help support retention
  • Support customer implementations, and partner with Product and Engineering to build scalable implementation and app methodologies
  • Identify opportunities, trends, and inefficiencies in processes and services, and work cross-functionally to drive ongoing improvement for your team and end-customers
  • Drive and report on strategic goals, initiatives, and pacing 
  • Act as an escalation resource for troubleshooting and escalation coordination between internal teams on issues including app configuration, app store management, API integrations, migrations from competitors, and more
  • Develop a deep understanding of our customers’ needs and our current offerings that deliver those experiences
  • Conduct competitive research to keep services competitive and unique


Skills and knowledge you should possess:

  • 8+ years of experience in managing professional services, technical services, or app-related enablement
  • Comfortability working in a technical environment and an ability to understand API documentation
  • Experience managing a global team and working with direct reports to develop their skills
  • Experience supporting Enterprise-level clients
  • Ability to use qualitative and quantitative data and insights to drive meaningful results 
  • A problem solving work style that is collaborative, positive and consultative in order to drive change
  • Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously while communicating effectively with stakeholders across offices and functions
  • Passion for understanding and triaging technical concepts or products

Bonus points (nice skills to have, but not needed): 

    • Experience at a quickly scaling, growth stage SaaS company
    • Video familiarity
    • Experience working with a team that spans across time zones
    • Coding or app experience
