ERG & DEI Engagement Manager

We’re looking for a ERG (Employee Resource Groups) and DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) Engagement Manager to join Snap Inc! As a key member of the IDEA Team (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Awareness), you’ll be responsible for leading our ERGs as well as driving the strategy for greater employee engagement in DEI efforts across Snap. Working from our Los Angeles, CA headquarters or New York office, you’ll collaborate with cross functional teams to achieve greater diversity within Snap.
What you’ll do:
Set the strategy for and manage Snap’s global ERG program
Optimize existing systems and design new processes to enhance how ERGs strategically contribute to Snap’s business, including product and content.
Manage relationships between ERGs and Snap Executive Team and business leaders, including project managing DEI Advisory Council.
Build new opportunities for employees to engage with Snap’s broader DEI strategy, including partnering with the Philanthropy team.
Define strategy and oversee execution of internal communications efforts to inspire Snap team members, including the IDEA team newsletter and the production of internal company events like the Big IDEA.
Support the execution and implementation of elements Snap’s DEI Strategic Plan.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
A superb track record of project management, with an ability to juggle multiple projects at a time
Experience designing and executing programs to support both domestic and international teams simultaneously
Strong interpersonal relationship management skills, with a proven track record to instill trust
Experience managing cross-functional, multi-stakeholder projects from end-to-end
Knowledge of product and/or content development processes
Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to influence leaders from a variety of subject areas and seniority levels
Experience in building and presenting strategy documents and decks
Willingness to develop new skills and expertise in new subject areas
Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adapt to the changing needs and priorities of the organization
Proven track record of business acumen and utilizing information to build strategies and solutions
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
5+ years professional experience
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience working with ERGs
2+ years of experience driving marketing and communications related initiatives
2+ years experience driving strategies across national and international offices simultaneously
