Head of Communication Planning

We’re looking for an experienced and versatile Communications Planner to join team Arcadia. The Communications Planner will be a senior member of the Arcadia team and a key influencer in driving the ambition of the studio. They will be a strategy and planning catalyst with the ability to inspire marketers and excite agencies through articulate narratives. The Comms planner will be adept at joining the dots between cross functional partners to create, implement and execute best in class communication plans that illuminate the AR landscape.
The ideal candidate will be a proven storyteller who can combine first party data with third party research to develop insights, trend reports and narratives.
What you will do:
Concept and deliver world class planning narratives the provide insight on cross platform AR
Work with first and third party sources to map trends and develop a deep understanding of the AR advertising ecosystem
Develop Arcadia’s POV on the different AR platforms and use cases; educate clients and internal stakeholders on trends in consumer engagement
Stay on top of industry standards and advise on new ways to reach targets
Give presentations and systematically distribute findings & recommendations
Minimum qualifications:
10+ years experience working in a communication planning role at an agency or platform
Excellent presenter with first class verbal and written communication skills
Preferred qualifications:
BA in PPE, English, Marketing, Communications, Business Management or similar
Deep knowledge of the advertising landscape, agencies, and workflows
Deep knowledge of the AR landscape across platforms and use cases
Significant creative agency experience
Proven ability to build inspiring narratives that solve business needs and garner industry recognition
Public track record of thought leadership within the creative industry
