Head of Technical Services:

When was the last time you were planning a business trip and really tried to save your company money? The Role:

We’re looking for a Head of Technical Services to join our team. The person plays a critical role in ensuring the early success of customers and the continuing evolution of our product. This person will be responsible for managing implementations and budget calibrations and will manage a team. The Head of Technical Services is also the internal product expert and main evangelist of Rocketrip’s budget algorithms for colleagues, prospects, and active customers. Our ideal candidate has extensive technical project management skills, a client facing background, and prior management experience.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage a team of Technical Services Managers, Budget Calibration Analysts, and Engineers
  • Improve effectiveness and efficiency of customer implementations, including technical components and budget calibrations
  • Develop relationships with Rocketrip partners, including travel management companies and online booking tools
  • Act as the product and budget expert in the sales process and with active customers
  • Drive product improvements by working internally across teams

You Should Have:

  • BA/BS degree
  • 5+ years of experience in implementations, technical project management, or a related field
  • Demonstrated track record of leading highly engaged teams, developing top talent, and driving results
  • Experience working in a high growth environment, preferably in technology or travel
  • Experience scaling new products for large enterprises
  • Fantastic communication and customer relationship skills
  • Understanding of common web technologies, SaaS platforms, CMS, and services
  • Experience with complex data and analysis
