The Role:
As an Integration and Implementation Specialist, you will be providing  quality and timely integration and implementation support to K-12 educational institutions. Working in partnership with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Account Management teams, you’ll help build scalable strategies to successfully onboard new clients, and integrate Newsela’s instructional platform with other educational technology solutions. As a key driver for customer success, you’ll do everything from daily client calls and documentation support, to suggesting and drafting new workflows that make client onboarding as seamless and delightful as possible.

Why You’ll Love This Role:

In this role, you will play an important  role in helping lay the framework for the large client implementation playbooks as we continue to expand our client base at the state, district, and school levels. Leveraging your love of systems building and process standardization, you will get to build relationships with the key decision-makers in school districts, and map client feedback and success to influence Newsela’s future product development.

Why We’ll Love You:
You have 1+ years successfully implementing technologies and onboarding clients, ideally either at an EdTech company or within school districts. You are able to both identify opportunities that positively impact the business, as well as execute to make them a reality. Thoughtful, clear communication is your specialty; you can translate technical communication across cross-functional teams and complex client organizations to effectively steer clients through implementation and adoption. You are also familiar with School Information Systems (i.e. PowerSchool, Infinite Campus, Skyward), Learning Management Systems (i.e. Canvas, Schoology, BlackBoard) and SSO Portals (i.e. Clever, Classlink). You have a track record of performance and successful implementation across multiple concurrent projects. You also have a desire to self-reflect, give/receive feedback and continuously improve. You consistently exercise excellent judgement, integrity, and commitment to personal responsibility and accountability, and are able to handle multiple, shifting, and competing priorities.

About Newsela:
One of the fastest growing tech companies in K-12 education, Newsela was founded on the principle that while every child learns differently, they all deserve a rich learning experience that ignites a love of learning. We built our platform based on learning science research to deliver the most engaging, authentic content to modernize how teaching happens in the classroom. Along with interactive assessments and tools, we provide teachers with digital content at five reading levels -- from +100 of the best sources -- that is relevant to the diverse backgrounds and interests of their students. Since we started in 2013, we’ve established a presence in 90% of U.S. K-12 schools and over 2.5M teachers and 37M students have registered with Newsela.
