We are looking for an experienced manager who can drive various organizational initiatives, improve engineering teams operation and elevate their success. When not working on improving various processes, you will be leading cross-team initiatives that deliver value to Vimeo users or internal teams. You will be working closely with Technology, Product, and various internal departments. Vimeo is expanding rapidly serving more than 200M customers in 190 countries! Vimeo Product is on a mission to help everyone grow their business with video by making it easy to create and market high-quality, impactful videos. Technology department is focusing on best in class video quality, building stable platforms, high availability, robust data and modern infrastructure.

What you'll do:

• Working closely with CTO and Engineering leadership on refining backlog of organizational improvements 
• Lead initiatives aiming to improve Engineering hiring and onboarding practices
• Facilitate consistent communication frameworks across vimeo, e.g Engineering all hands, internal video comms using Vimeo product 
• Lead tech programs of availability, cost optimization, continuous delivery, incident response and engineering velocity 
• Facilitate planning, execution and visibility for projects (and their expected product outcomes) spanning multiple engineering and non-engineering teams; be responsible for artifacts reflecting plans, progress, issues and risks.
• Facilitate collaboration between teams, ensure cross-team dependencies are identified and acted on, mitigate delivery risks
• Facilitate the adoption of Product and Engineering outcome based delivery process
• Actively support and encourage continuous improvement culture

Knowledge and skills you should possess:

• Worked closely with multiple engineering and non-engineering teams, with emphasis on improving their operation while delivering business value 
• Configured and managed Jira workflows, team boards, built information radiators in the Atlassian suite (or comparable).
• Demonstrated strong presentation and communication skills.
• Good understanding of Agile values and principles 
• Leading others towards shared objectives
• Experience scaling operations across multiple departments and offices
• Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar degree desired, or equivalent industry experience
• 8+ Years working in a capacity of Project or Program Manager, Manager of Program Management team
• Strong written & verbal communication skills
• Flexible and open minded with a positive attitude
