JOB SUMMARY: 

The VICELAND Programming Strategy department is looking for a detail oriented and quick learning Programming Manager who will be an integral member of our team. They will help manage our schedules across all platforms including linear, On Demand and our TV Everywhere website.

DUTIES:

• Assist in creating monthly schedules for all platforms including linear, On Demand and TV Everywhere
• Manage and assist inputting all programming information into A&E’s programming software including the On-Air network schedule, as well as the multiplatform schedule
• Manage our acquired movie inventory and work closely with our operations team to ensure correct delivery of versions, etc.
• Manage movie library information for all monthly planning meetings
• Update and manage our internal video library as well as metadata required for additional distributors
• Manage and send network wide updates regarding schedule changes and any additional programming information
• Provide competitive insights in weekly department meetings
• Work with Standards & Practices to ensure proper ratings for all programs
• Oversee delivery of all art from the network to required distributors
• Participate in overall schedule strategy conversations for both linear and multiplatform distribution

 EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION:

• 3+ years of relevant work experiences required
• Bachelors degree
