Outbrain is seeking a consultative Partner Manager (Account Manager), Supply platforms who will be responsible to lead the revenue growth of Outbrain’s global programmatic supply partners.
You will be part of a growing team and a key part of its success. Your main responsibility would be to provide quality supply for our demand partners (Marketers).
To do that you, you will work closely with our internal teams (Product, Sales engineers, QA, R&D, BA,and Amplify) to provide your clients the best product solutions to match their needs. Additionally, you will work closely with your partners to help them optimize their inventory to meet Outbrain’s demand’s needs.
Your knowledge of the complex world of the programmatic advertising industry is crucial for your success. You’ll be working and supporting the top customers in our industry, working alongside smart people who will challenge you with complex technical implementations and detailed configuration questions.
Own all post-contract client communications for 15-30 partners globally
Meet and consult regularly with clients to understand priorities, review performance, and share product updates
Identify opportunities to improve the performance of your partners by generating and analyzing reports related to Outbrain units
Work with a broad range of internal parties (product, engineering, business development, Demand partners, legal, marketing) to ensure successful partnerships
Identify strategic opportunities and upsell against them
Educate clients on Outbrain value and any relevant new products, features, or initiatives
Oversee core technology integrations, with support from Implementation Engineers and Product, to ensure smooth and successful launches
Manage new implementations for Outbrain content/ad recommendation units and be an expert on existing placements on clients' sites, regularly providing optimization suggestions
What you’ll need to be successful:
4+ years of account management or project management experience, working directly with clients (experience with digital publishers and/or digital partners a plus)
+1 years of experience in the world of programmatic advertising
Adaptive to new technologies. You are no stranger to and feel comfortable in talking about or learning more about CSS/S2S/API/JS as well as RTB, DSPs, ad exchanges, aggregators, ad servers, and other ad technologies
Good understanding of the mobile ecosystem - SDK, store guidelines etc.
Excellent quantitative skills and a proven ability to monitor, identify and present performance metrics (pivot tables are your friend)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (expect QBRs and client socializing)
Excellent time-management and organizational skills
Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in teams
