The Role:
As Head of Private Equity North America you will be part of the Celonis Private Equity team that works with leading Private Equity firms worldwide to accelerate their value creation efforts across the portfolio by leveraging the power of Celonis EMS. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to work with both the Private Equity and Tech space, and to be part of a transformation of an industry with limitless opportunities to embrace and benefit from technology. You will be responsible for further developing new business and for expanding existing strategic relationships with leading Private Equity firms in North America to drive growth of the Celonis Private Equity motion. You will work closely with the Celonis sales and customer value teams to drive the day-to-day interactions with portfolio companies, and with the ecosystem and marketing organisations to drive strategic initiatives that tie in to the PE community.
The ideal candidate will possess both a business background that enables them to drive an engagement and interact at the CxO/VP level both internally and externally, and deep PE industry knowledge as well as their own network within the PE space to accelerate growth. A keen sense of ownership, drive, and a rolling up your sleeves and getting to work attitude are a must.
Responsibilities:
As Head of Private Equity North America, you will:
… leverage your own network to discover new opportunities at leading PE firms in North America
… strengthen and expand existing strategic relationships with leading PE firms in North America
… develop strategic relationships with PE firms at a senior level to drive adoption of Celonis EMS at the PE firms and across their portfolio
… coordinate Celonis resources working with the PE portfolio companies
… contribute to the overall Celonis PE strategy including the development of further PE-specific use cases, assets, campaigns, and products
You:
… have 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales, business development, or management consulting, preferably with a PE-focus
... have 3+ years of experience working with senior C-level executives, and executives in the PE industry
… bring strong communication skills
… provide proven leadership history for managing complex projects
… can demonstrate your ability to work independently and effectively across internal and external organizations including sales, marketing, ecosystem, and product
… are capable of building and navigating long-term relationships with executives and stakeholders
… are passionate about changing organizations with a strong focus on value
… are an intrinsic motivated, proactive team player with innovative ideas to inspire customers
… are fluent in English
