About Spruce

Spruce is looking for an ambitious Program Director to join our growing team and take the lead on our efforts to provide the number one platform to SFR investors. You will work cross functionally with product, engineering, operations, sales, and client success to deliver innovative industry leading solutions to this large and growing segment of the real estate industry. The ideal candidate will be a multidisciplinary leader, a clear communicator, and delight in solving complex, real world problems with a technology-first approach.

What you'll do

• Set and achieve ambitious goals in pursuit of providing a transformational title, closing, and transaction management solution to the SFR industry
• Lead a cross functional team across all of our R&D and business functions in pursuit of our goals
• Partner with the sales and marketing teams to create and close new sales opportunities, build our reputation in the market, and develop a relevant brand
• Interface with clients to understand their needs and translate them into actionable insights, and drive new product adoption with them
• Report regularly to the leadership team on progress and challenges

• You’re passionate about SFR Investing: you know your cap rates from your NOIs, can wax lyrical about property management solutions, and have empathy for the needs of fellow investors, both retail and institutional
• You’re an innovator. You’ve worked in a product or operational role that has forced you to invent processes and processes that bring value to clients
• You’re a humble, happy, and hungry leader and you know that influence is earned through collaboration and curiosity, not given through reporting lines
• You’re able to build trusting relationships in a remote environment and have a track record of building great external relationships
• You understand regulated industries and can think of compliance as a core feature of any solution
• You can drive change in a complex process, with both technical and non-technical solutions
• You’re highly analytical and data driven, especially being able to communicate progress and value effectively, and rely on data to manage complex processes effectively at scale
