Your role and impact

As Program Director, you will own the strategic and day to day operations of our Product Team. You will be the right hand to our CEO/Chief Product Officer working alongside our Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, CTO and our 50 person Engineering Team.

As we work to bring new product offerings and feature enhancements to market, we need a Program Director to own the roadmap and keep everything moving forward. This is a new position for us and we see this role as strategically important to our continued success.

As Program Director, you will drive the accountability to timelines and deliverables, take ownership of the process, keep us on track, and solve problems along the way. Our ideal candidate has experience building and leading cross functional teams and shipping products. We value strong project management skills over technical skills for this role.

This position will report directly to the CEO/Chief Product Officer and is based in New York City.

Your responsibilities 

• Oversee our Product Managers as they manage the product lifecycle from requirements to UX/UI, QA/engineering, roadmap through release
• Bring leadership to the Product Team while fostering a collaborative approach
• Drive decisions, deliverables, and keep track of all action items through each project roadmap
• Run weekly Product Team meeting
• Manage deliverables over a weekly cadence, monitor and report on KPIs
• Help PMs translate business needs into formal product requirements
• Ensure PMs are performing QA and successfully communicating all UX/UI design requirements to Engineering team
• Help identify resource requirements
• Own and manage plan for every major new release

Qualificatons

• Excellent project management skills and experience managing cross functional teams
• Experience shipping financial or technical products and feature updates
• Strong prioritization and communication skills
