Dotdash is looking for a creative-minded Program Manager to join our growing team! This critical role serves as a hub of support for our clients and Dotdash's lifestyle-focused branded content programs, and is entrenched within the sales, creative and ad product departments.
The Program Manager is the facilitator that brings our custom programs to life for our brand partners across the CPG, Travel, Tech, Auto, and Home categories. You will own custom products and content formats including but not limited to editorial content sponsorships, branded and native content and rich media units.
The right candidate is a problem solver, has excellent communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You should have experience in client service and managing custom programs for lifestyle brands.
This is a client-facing role, so previous client-facing experience is a must.
About Your Contributions:

  • Act as owner for custom programs running on our Lifestyle verticals, including The Spruce, MyDomaine, Lifewire, Tripsavvy, and more!
  • Understand the program KPIs and assess requirements to develop the production scope and timeline for the programs
  • Shepherd custom programs through the production funnel from kick off through launch, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, on budget and to a high standard
  • Lead both internal and external kickoff calls, ensuring internal teams and the client are aligned on the program and elements
  • Act as the client point of contact for the duration of the campaign, communicating timelines and managing the review and approval processes on custom content and rich media units.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders across Account Strategy, Ad Operations, Creative, Editorial, Product, Sales, and Video to ensure a smooth execution of the program
  • Become an expert in our content management systems (CMS), rich media unit development, and our custom content product suite

About You:

  • 3-5 years at a digital publisher, media company or agency
  • At least 2 years working on integrated branded content and programs across a variety of formats including written advertorial, rich media, social, and video
  • Experience serving in a client-facing role
  • Solid understanding of the advertising industry and digital media
  • Experience working with rich media, in DFP, and understanding tracking tags are a plus
  • Ability to multi-task and internally manage key stakeholders (sales, product, editorial) to meet client deadlines
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills, both written & verbal
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Thrives in a high-pressure, fast-paced production environment while juggling numerous projects and a calm demeanor
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Keynote, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Google Suite
  • You have a Bachelor's Degree
  • Solid understanding of advertising industries and digital media
  • Positive team player who problem-solves to get the job done
