The Program Manager will play a critical role in supporting Primary Promise Retired Teachers (PPRT) in implementing Amplify Skills Boost intervention. The primary responsibilities of the Program Manager will be to ensure program success for all PPRT, school, and district partners. The Program Manager will create and implement a project plan. They will also build and maintain external relationships with states and districts in order to keep them informed of the work as well as build and maintain internal relationships with various Amplify teams.
The Program Manager will support implementation by monitoring the relevant data, deciding on the appropriate groups of students for the PPRT to work with and communicating these changes to the PPRT. They will additionally provide ongoing professional development and support as the PPRT implement the intervention lessons. The Program Manager will create systems for onboarding and communications to PPRT and partners.
The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, focused, education leader who uses data to make decisions and ensures outstanding support to teachers, school points of contact and district and Amplify team members. They will combine a capacity for systems and strategic thinking, deep instructional knowledge, attention to detail, excellent project management skills, and strong relationship building skills with critical internal and external collaborators to ensure a successful program implementation.

  • This is a remote position, but candidates must be able to work West Coast Time Zone hours.


Responsibilities of the Program Manager:

  • Create and implement project plan to successfully oversee the project and regularly provide updates on implementation to internal leadership and district/state leadership
  • Develop systems for scheduling and communicating with teachers and external partners
  • Organize and schedule weekly office hours for PPRT
  • Organize and schedule twice a month all team call with PPRT
  • Organize and schedule quarterly call with school administrators point of contact
  • Monitor and use student data to support implementation, including making decisions about the students who will receive interventions
  • Organize and track program level implementation data
  • Develop surveys for PPRT and other partners in order to report on satisfaction and feedback on the program
  • Collaboratively develop program goals, team routines and correlating assets, and best practices for PPRT and Skills Boost Intervention
  • Work collaboratively with Amplify Skills Boost product team to develop planning tools and communicate lessons learned
  • Develop and monitor satisfaction and feedback surveys in order to improve systems and structures
  • Maintain partnerships at the district and state level by providing program updates and sharing data trends
  • Routinely analyze project-wide data to pull out trends, codify findings and prioritize project needs
  • Build transparency for both internal and external teams to show visibility and insights


Basic Qualifications of the Program Manager:

  • 3+ years of PK-12 school based experience
  • Experience successfully implementing large-scale projects
  • Experience developing and maintaining a project plan
  • Experience using complex spreadsheets and scheduling platforms
  • Deep understanding of data analysis standard methodologies in order to drive instruction and increase student achievement
  • Knowledge of instructional strategies and practices, including methods of differentiating instruction and fostering student engagement
  • Experience delivering and leading professional development in a school, district, or state setting
  • Proficient with technology (GoogleMeets, Google docs, Google platforms)
  • Demonstrated experience handling complex projects in school/district settings


Preferred Qualifications of the Program Manager:

  • Has experience teaching or tutoring
  • Knowledge of and experience using Amplify mCLASS products
  • Knowledge of Science of Reading
