How you'll make an impact at Collibra:

The Excellence Enablement team is part of the Operations & Excellence organization, and provides program and project management support throughout the Product and Engineering organization.

We’re looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to drive and coordinate multiple projects for the Operations Team, ranging from engineering infrastructure improvements, continuous testing setup, to SaaS operations enhancements.

You will be reporting to the director of the Excellence Enablement team, working directly with the Product and the Engineering Leads of Operations, and collaborating with your peer Program Managers.

A day in the life of a Program Manager at Collibra:

  • Support strategic planning and drive alignment with organizational priorities
  • Set up and defend business cases to obtain the required resources and sponsorship internally
  • Report progress to Product & Engineering Senior Leadership
  • Manage risks and dependencies for setting clear expectations
  • Execute and coordinate the ongoing projects together with project managers
  • Drive Excellence in Product & Engineering when it comes to project management

You Have:

  • Proven experience as a Program Manager in the software industry
  • A technical background, preferably in a DevOps or CI/CD setting
  • Experience in working in a multi-time zone environment
  • Communicate fluently in English, written and spoken

You Are:

  • Familiar with multiple project management methodologies, ranging from Prince2/PMI to Scrum/Kanban
  • A team player and have excellent people skills, including the ability to influence, negotiate and achieve results through others who are not direct reports
  • A pioneer who can lead the team, build relationships across the organization, and ensure that the right processes, metrics, and insights are in place

Measures of success:

  • Within your first month, you will own a prioritized list of projects, including their key dependencies and risks
  • Within your third month, you will have successfully delivered your first projects.
  • Within your sixth month, you will be regarded as the go-to person for the Operations roadmap
