The Opportunity
As part of a cross-functional team and reporting to the [Chief Strategy Officer], the Programme Manager will be responsible for leading the delivery of one of Trustpilot’s key strategic projects for 2020. This being the transition of our packaging and pricing go-to-market strategy.
This full-time role as Programme Manager will take a leading role in planning, coordinating and delivering the workstreams across the organisation in order to execute in full the Packaging & Pricing Initiative.
You will be part of a small team consisting of members from all functions from across Trustpilot representing; Commercial, Product, Marketing etc tasked with delivering the Packaging and Pricing Initiative. You will need to travel regularly to keep aligned with stakeholders.
You will collaborate extensively across the business including our C-Suite to ensure equal representation of all divisions of the business and adherence to Trustpilot’s mission and distinctives.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that the Packaging & Pricing Initiative aligns with the Volume based Go-To-Market Thematic Goal and Trustpilot’s overall strategy
- Ensure there is alignment between the strategic outcomes of the programme and programme delivery plans across all relevant projects / workstreams
- Ensure there is clear ownership of deliverables and related activities at project / workstream level
- Ensure there is executive-level visibility of programme milestones and related risks, issues and required decisions
- Identify and help remove impediments within and between departments that may delay delivery
- Ensure risks and issues have appropriate mitigation strategies and know when to escalate to create a sense of urgency
- Partner with Packaging and Pricing team to drive progress
- Day-to-day management of programme governance, plans and activities
- Having established a clear communications infrastructure, keep all (relevant) stakeholders across the business aligned and informed of the status of the programme/projects as appropriate
- Be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered with minimal surprises along the way and in a timely manner.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree required. MBA preferred
- Minimum [10] years + relevant experience in Programme/Project Management roles or similar, (Product Marketing or Product Management) in a fast-growing/fast-paced company (Technology, SaaS or Data & Analytic type business preferable)
- Large/complex CPQ implementation experience preferable
- Possess excellent communication skills and are fluent in English, both written and oral
- Experience in managing the delivery of projects with proven ability to influence senior leadership
- Strong foundational project management skills and toolkit
- Self-motivated with attention to detail, timelines, and status reporting
- Proactive and don’t "wait for things to happen" mindset - play a strong role in making them happen
- Structured, organised and works well in a dynamic environment
- Personable and approachable with a positive attitude
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to create order out of chaos
- Tend to look at things objectively and able to assert when necessary
- Ability to see the big picture to identify dependencies and potential impacts, with an eye for detail
- Great facilitation skills and able to build bridges between teams and people.
