The Project Manager will be responsible for planning and overseeing a state specific curriculum pilot project, ensuring it is completed on schedule and within budget. Attention to detail required. This position is based in Brooklyn, but can be remote.
Responsibilities:

  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Assist in preparing decks for client updates


Basic Qualifications:

  • Proven working experience in project management
  • Excellent vendor-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency using various digital tools and software to proof assets and track projects, such as Google Docs, Sheets, and other proofing applications.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
  • A background in education or related field
  • Experience with state adoptions
  • Native or bilingual proficiency of the Spanish language is a plus
