Project Manager, CKLA

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning and overseeing a state specific curriculum pilot project, ensuring it is completed on schedule and within budget. Attention to detail required. This position is based in Brooklyn, but can be remote.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Assist in preparing decks for client updates
Basic Qualifications:
- Proven working experience in project management
- Excellent vendor-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency using various digital tools and software to proof assets and track projects, such as Google Docs, Sheets, and other proofing applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
- A background in education or related field
- Experience with state adoptions
- Native or bilingual proficiency of the Spanish language is a plus
