The newly created Innovation team, led by our co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer, is tasked with accelerating our aggressive growth trajectory by translating opportunities into reality.

This role will be integral to Freshly’s innovation agenda, supporting both improvements to our existing products and expansion into new spaces. You will be responsible for contributing to the development of a robust innovation pipeline, leading cross-functional teams to bring ideas from the conceptual stage through to execution and post-launch support. This role reports into the Director of Innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Stay abreast of food tech trends, identifying new business opportunities that can meet the needs of our customers and add value to the company
• Lead market opportunity analysis, concept development, market research plans, product design and development, and go-to-market strategy for new product launches
• Develop thoughtful and strategic business plans, with accompanying pitch decks, to excite stakeholders and secure resources
• Collaborate with cross-functional teammates to rapidly design and build new products and businesses
• Own day-to-day project management for multiple projects running simultaneously, including developing and managing timelines and budgets 

About You:

• Pride yourself on your ability to bring ideas to fruition, with a track record of executing brilliantly and with speed
• A self-starter who is equally comfortable working independently and with a team
• Highly efficient and organized, with great attention to detail
• Strong project management skills for a fast-paced startup environment - skilled at planning, organizing, prioritizing, and executing simultaneous projects and activities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Naturally curious and a creative problem solver
• 3-5 years experience in product development, brand management, or business development; food industry experience a plus
• Demonstrated passion for health and wellness and / or food and nutrition
• BA required; MBA a plus
