Project Manager
The Job:
The Project Manager is responsible for organizing highly complex activities for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Company projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain communication with all departments
- Attend client meetings to discuss field personnel opportunities; identify client needs and evaluate alternative business solutions
- Direct, review, or approve project design changes
- Present and explain proposals, reports, or findings to clients
- Develop or implement policies, standards, and procedures for work
- Perform administrative functions, such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules, and purchasing of materials or services
- Identify opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change; manage the process of innovative change effectively
- Effective project management: apply company methodology, enforce standards, minimize exposure to risk and ensure completion and accurate storage of finished projects
- Communicate relevant project information to appropriate parties, resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion
- Provide professional guidance to assist coworkers in career and leadership development; inspire coworkers to attain goals and pursue excellence
- Team management: utilize team members to fullest potential, encourage collaboration, mitigate conflict, foster positive communication, acknowledgement and appreciation
- QA (test) developed features on back-end as dev team completes them
- Check for bugs in system frequently, ensure things are working as expected
- Compile fixes (front-end/back-end visual + operative) for dev team - Add to JIRA
- Ask for daily/weekly updates from Dev Team
- Find/develop useful tools that benefit workflow
- Work with design to help with editing marketing materials to ensure all information is correct
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Prior project management experience of over 5 years
- Pleasant and confident demeanor when dealing with colleagues and clients
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and speak English
- Efficient and well organized
- Proficiency with calendar systems
- Prior experience with Salesforce, Intercom, or Asana a plus
- Ability to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
